House Of The Dragon Season 2 premieres: Generating Millions Of Viewers Worldwide

The much anticipated second season of the House of the Dragon has premiered, bringing in not less than 7.8 million viewers across all platforms in the U.S.

The series first premiere drew nearly 10 million viewers across all platforms in its first night, making it the most-watched series opener in HBO’s history.

Season one ended up averaging 29 million cross-platform viewers per episode, the highest number for any HBO series since Game of Thrones ended, until ‘The Last of Us’ surpassed House of the Dragon in early 2023 by averaging better than 30 million viewers over its run.

‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2 has been the service’s biggest premiere since launching in Europe in May. WBD also noted that this was the biggest Season 2 premiere that any of the company’s streamers have achieved in Europe.
