Vinicius Jr Wins FIFA Best Men’s Player of the Year Award

Real Madrid and Brazil star Vinicius Jr has been named the FIFA Best Men’s Player of the Year. The 24-year-old received the award during a ceremony in Doha, celebrating his incredible performances in the 2023-24 football season.

Vinicius played an important role in helping Real Madrid win both the Champions League and La Liga titles last season. He scored 24 goals and provided 11 assists across all competitions, proving to be one of the most important players in the team’s success.

This is the first time Vinicius has won the FIFA Best award. His win comes after he and Real Madrid skipped the recent Ballon d’Or ceremony, where Manchester City’s Rodri was named the winner.

The FIFA Best Awards honor the best players in the world based on their performances from August 2023 to August 2024. The winners are chosen through votes from the public, journalists, and national team coaches and captains, with each group having an equal say in the final result.
