The English Premier league title race couldn’t have gotten more intensified, as leaders, Manchester city and Arsenal both win their respective matches this weekend to clinch vital three points in the title run in.
Current leaders, Arsenal faced arch-rivals, and fellow London club Tottenham away at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium and were able to secure a dramatic 3:2 win against their rivals.
Arsenal led 3:0 in the first half of the game, but conceded two second half goals, but managed to hold on till the final whistle of the match, thereby securing a vital three points in their title race.
Meanwhile, on the other end, Manchester City hosted Nottingham forest, and were able to secure a comfortable 2:0 victory over a careless Nottingham forest side who wasted lots of chances during the game.
With both sides winning their respective games, Arsenal and Manchester city remain top of the Premier league. Arsenal lead the table with 80 points, followed by Manchester city with 79 points but with a game in hand.
