Former US President Donald Trump Shot But Escapes Assassination Attempt
Gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey has petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, regarding allegations suggesting that he is the father of his fellow artist Mercy Chinwo’s child.
Through his legal representatives – Peter Abraham, Uche Matthew, Gbenga Agunloye, and Anthony Abia – Bassey has urged the IGP to conduct an investigation into the matter and take legal action against four individuals on social media: Okoronkwo Ejike, Kingsley Ibeh, Terrence Ekot, and DJ Spoiltkid.
These individuals are accused of spreading false information, alleging paternal fraud. The accusations surfaced when Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Blessed Uzochikwa, shared the identity of their six-month-old son on social media on March 29.
Mr. Ejike, in particular, posted, “This is Mercy Chinwo’s child she was hiding after giving birth, but the truth is that this baby looks exactly like singer Nathaniel Bassey. No matter what anyone says, this child resembles Nathaniel Bassey. Maybe a secret away match occurred; otherwise, how can we make empirical sense of this?”
