The Joint Admission and Matriculations Board, JAMB, will begin registration for the 2024/2025 Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examinations, UTME, on Monday, January 15th, and will conclude on February 24th, 2024.

The JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, told media executives in Lagos that logistics for the exam had been perfected.

He went on to say, “Public advertisement on stages of registration will also commence in the national newspapers to guide UTME and direct entry candidates.”

Step 1: Create a JAMB Profile

You must first create a profile on the JAMB portal before you can register for the JAMB UTME. Take the following steps:

Go to the JAMB official website (www.jamb.gov.ng).

Click the button that says “Click here to create a JAMB profile.”

Enter your email address and password. Use a functional and easily accessible email address because JAMB will communicate with you via it.

After entering your information, click “Sign Up.”

An email with a confirmation link will be sent to you. To verify your email address, click on this link.

Step 2: Get Your NIN (Nigeria National Identification Number)

JAMB registration requires a Nigerian National Identification Number (NIN). You can obtain your NIN by visiting a NIMC office or downloading the NIMC mobile app. Before proceeding with registration, make sure you have your NIN.

Step 3: Purchase the JAMB Registration e-PIN

Follow these steps to obtain your JAMB Registration e-PIN:

To obtain an e-PIN, go to any accredited bank, JAMB office, or JAMB-approved online platform.

At the designated outlet, enter your NIN.

Pay the registration fee, which is subject to change each year; the current fee can be found on the JAMB website.

Obtain your JAMB Registration e-PIN as well as the e-Brochure, which contains important information about the registration process.

Step 4: Register for JAMB UTME

Follow these steps to obtain your JAMB Registration e-PIN:

To obtain an e-PIN, go to any accredited bank, JAMB office, or JAMB-approved online platform.
