The Super Eagles of Nigeria recorded a 12-0 win against a local football club in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in a friendly yesterday.
Ademola Lookman scored four goals, while Victor Osimhen and Moses Simon each scored a pair. The Super Eagles’ captain Ahmed Musa and Sadiq Umar added a goal each, along with two own goals from the home team.
The Super Eagles will prepare for a Monday friendly against the Syli Nationale of Guinea at the Yani Abas Stadium. Afterward, they’ll head to Ivory Coast for the 2023 AFCON, starting on Saturday, January 13.
