Ondo Governor Akeredolu Dies At 67

The Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, has died.

He died in the early hours of Wednesday in Lagos after a long battle with leukemia.

It was said that State House doctors managed him up to his death because flying him abroad was not possible.

“Akeredolu is dead; he died in Lagos.

“They were looking for dialysis machines to be sent to his secret location in Lagos last week.”

After returning to Nigeria in September from a three-month medical leave in Germany, the ailing governor took another leave recently, following President Bola Tinubu’s directive to hand over power to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

May his soul rest in peace.
