However, one which has been in oversight, so much that not too many people know about it is the business of dog grooming. To an average Nigerian, Dog grooming might not totally not come across as a business venture, but believe me when I say it’s as good as it comes.

What is Dog grooming? 

Dog grooming according to wiki refers to both the hygienic care and cleaning of a dog, as well as a process by which a dog’s physical appearance is enhanced for showing or other types of competition. But for the purpose of this article, We will define Dog grooming simply as the process of cleaning up and removing dead skin from a dog.

Ordinarily, people in the Western world groom their dogs regularly just as much as they take care of their own bodies. The idea is that grooming of these dogs puts them in a good place whereby the dogs become healthier and cleaner after undergoing brushing, bathing, trimming, and overall drying which means they are well tended to.

Here in Nigeria, especially in choice areas, dogs are being groomed for as much as #36,000. • Get the necessary tools

• Brush carefully and gently

• Give the dog a cold bathe

• Clean the ears thoroughly

• Trim dog nails and brush teeth

• Clip if you must

• Dry the dog and you’re done.
