We won our first match in the AFCON, I’m not very football savvy but this has me positively excited, I mean, does it mean what I think it means?
Are we good for things other than corruption? Is the country not a complete shit show?
I am not being sarcastic I swear, when news that AFCON would begin, we only understood it as another place where Africa gained relevance apart from tipping poverty and world hunger scales.
Nigeria winning the AFCON would be a great way to kick off 2022, but let’s not reach for the sky, we just beat Egypt.
One would think with all the pyramids they have their defenses would be tough. This is going to be the most unfootbally commentary you may ever read.
The Nigeria vs Egypt was triumphed by Iheanacho, whose name is also promise, interesting.
Anywho, the match ended in 1-0, when Kelechi Iheanacho, Moses Simon and Joe Aribo formed what they say looked like the best attack of the tournament thus far, well the tournament did just start.
All we want
Or how do they say it?
All we are saying is give us one goal
And Nigeria did just that.
Thankfully it was enough .
