Former US President Donald Trump Shot But Escapes Assassination Attempt
It appears the Nigerian men basketball team are having a good time with their exhibitions. After securing a first ever win over the USA few days ago, they’ve followed that feat with another win. This time a 94-71 win over south Americans, Argentina.
The D’Tigers managed to get one over the FIBA number 4 in a pulsating encounter. The likes of Okafor, Miye Oni and Achiuwa all produced an electric display that ensured a 12 point lead at the second quarter. In the third quarter, the team stretched the lead by 7 more points, albeit the third quarter was a bit flat, making the Argentines close in to end the quarter 20-16.
The D’Tigers win over the USA might have been more of the three-point shots, this most recent one over the Argentines showed a display of knack, grit and versatility of the team on both ends of the court.
Next up for the Nigerian side is a warm up fixture against Australia whom they play today in Tokyo. Hopefully, this amazing run continues when they take to the court later today.
