Football: Juventus in the ditch as they get 15 points deduction

It’s common knowledge that whenever the transfer window opens, football Clubs are always eager to bolster their squad with the addition of a few new faces to strengthen the team. However, some of these Club sides go the extreme by flouting FIFA’s transfer regulations, and just as Chelsea did sometimes ago when they were banned from making any transfers cutting across two windows, Serie A side Juventus have also found themselves in a bad place right now.

The Italian giants have been found wanting in their transfer dealings in recent times and have been deducted a whooping 15 points in the wake of this. Juventus who previously sit third on the log are not in a distant 10th in the league, 12 points adrift of Lazio who now sit in 4th place on the Serie A standings.

Although the Italian giants are likely to appeal the decision, but the truth remains that the cloud over the white and blacks doesn’t look too bright at the moment, and they look all set to miss out on next season’s Champions league should they not successfully appeal for the decision to be rescinded.
