The Football Association (FA) has officially named Thomas Tuchel as the new head coach of the England national football team.

The German coach will be the third foreign manager to lead the English football team, following in the footsteps of Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.

Tuchel signed his contract on October 8 and will begin his role on January 1. He is well-known for his time managing top European clubs like Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Tuchel will be supported by English coach Anthony Barry, who has previously worked alongside him at both Chelsea and Bayern. Together, they aim to guide the England team to future success.
