Super Eagles Knocks Out Angola To Reach AFCON Semi Final

The Super Eagles of Nigeria has advanced to the semi-finals of the 2023 African Cup Of Nations After defeating Angola 1:0 in their quarter-final clash in Abidjan.

The match started with both sides testing each other’s defences, but few minutes before half time,  precisely in the 41 minute,  Nigeria took the lead after Moses Simon provided Ademola Lookman with a nice pass inside box, allowing him to finish with a precise effort under the bar.

The Super of Nigeria managed to double the lead in the 75th minute after Victor Osimhen managed to put a beautifully placed header pass the Angolan goalkeeper.  But unfortunately, the goal was ruled out for offside.

The Angolan players struggled to find an equaliser, but their efforts weren’t successful.  The match ended 1:0, meaning Nigeria would advance to the Semi final of the tournament.
