Former US President Donald Trump Shot But Escapes Assassination Attempt
The Super eagles of Nigeria have progressed into the quarter finals of the 2023 African Cup Of Nations after defeating Cameroon 2:0 in their round of 16 clash.
The match started on a buzzing note as Nigeria managed to find the back of the net in the 9th minute after Nigerian midfielder, Semi Ajayi, from a rebound fired a brilliant shot into the right post. But to the dismay of the Nigerian players, the goal was cancelled after a VAR check due to offside.
The match then grew more intense between both sides, but Nigeria was able go ahead in the 36th minute after Victor Osimhen found Ademola Look Lookman with a cheeky pass inside the net, who didn’t waste time firing it into the back of the net.
The second half of the game was dominated by the Cameroon players who secured most of the possession, but unfortunately for them, they went down 2 nill after Nigeria’s Calvin Bassey, with a clever pass found Ademola Lookman in the edge of the box and firing a tremendous shot into the back of the net.
The match ended 2:0 in favour of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, who now progress into the Quarter finals of the tournament. They will be facing Angola who had earlier defeated Namibia 3:0 to progress to the last eight.
