Tiwa Savage Set To Release Her Debut Movie “Water And Garri”

Tiwa Savage’s debut movie “Water and Garri” will exclusively premiere on Prime Video in 2024 across 240+ countries.

The film, directed by Meji Alabi and shot in Cape Coast, Ghana, stars Tiwa Savage, Mike Afolarin, and Jemima Osunde and a host of others.

The storyline follows Aisha (played by Savage), a fashion designer returning home after a decade in the U.S. and has to deal with past scars and guilt.

Excited about the release, Tiwa Savage shared her joy on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to lead and executive produce the film. She also praised director Meji Alabi for creating a masterpiece.

The movie has been in the making for over two years, and Tiwa Savage can’t wait to share this new chapter in her artistic journey with her fans worldwide.
