Song review: Wizkid’s bad to me

Wizkid released ‘bad to Me’ earlier in the month. This new song explores a fuse of amapiano and afrobeat style, individually not things Wizkid is not used to.

But together, he creates bad to me.

Is this song the stepping stone for a coming album, we don’t know but what we do know is that the chorus is a hit, the other parts, we will give it time.

You can definitely imagine yourself humming iyekeke while picking beans, and a second listen will definitely have you bopping to the hook and opening verse.

Could he have done better? Yes I strongly believe he could. This is not his best song but it is also not his worst. It is worth a listen and you should check it out now.

In the meantime make sure you are listening from a good sound system / device, the new iPhone update has made sure of that anyway.
