It’s the start of a new month already, July! And in the football fraternity, this could only mean one or two things. New contracts for players whose previous deal has expired, and for those that come off worse, being clubless.

This is the way of the round leather game, especially when it comes to Club football business. Not to be condescending however, with July kicking off in full gear, it appears some of your favourite ballers might be lumped in that clubless basket going forward.

Players like Christian Eriksen, Paulo Dybala, Isco, and United duo Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata, amongst several others might have to try harder to find themselves a club where they’d ply their trade in the forthcoming football season.

For a fact, this period could be quite unforgiving, but then again it’s the way of the ballers, and perhaps it’s nothing to make a meal out of.
