Valentine is around the corner and the frenzy once more for love is upon us. Upon them, I can’t be bothered – said the bothered individual.

I’m just here to remind you, as per usual, that love exists outside of heterosexual relationships. You do not need to have significant other to celebrate or understand the beauty that is love.

I don’t mean to sound like an annoying youth pastor, the type that ask the congregation quarterly if they have had boyfriends/girlfriends and urge them to be truthful.

I will stand up and at-testify to being in a relationship, that is totally a thing I would do at church. Anyway, this February, I urge you to do something for you, for your friends, for your family. Learn that love can exist outside of romance.
