Former US President Donald Trump Shot But Escapes Assassination Attempt
Manchester United is expected to confirm Ruben Amorim as their new manager on Thursday after reaching an agreement with Sporting Lisbon.
Reports from The Athletic say that the 39-year-old coach will stay with Sporting, who currently lead the Portuguese league, for their next three matches, including a Champions League game against Manchester City next week.
Amorim is expected to officially take charge of Manchester United during the international break in November. His first game as United’s manager would be an away match against Ipswich on November 24.
Manchester United has reportedly paid Sporting an extra one million euros, on top of the ten million euro exit clause, to secure an early release for Amorim.
