Zoo Worker Killed by Lion at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library

A tragic incident occurred at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Saturday. A 35-year-old zoo worker, Babaji Daule, was killed by a lion.

According to the Ogun State Police, Daule, who was originally from Bauchi State, accidentally forgot to lock and barricades the lion’s enclosure before attempting to feed it. This mistake allowed the lion to escape and attack him. The lion severely injured Daule’s neck, leading to his death.

The police have confirmed the incident, and investigations are ongoing.
