Federal Fire Service Recruitment: FG Shortlists Candidates for Next Phase

 

The Federal Government has released the shortlist of candidates for the next phase of recruitment into the Federal Fire Service. The announcement was made on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, in a statement by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).

According to the statement by Ja’afaru Ahmed, Secretary of CDCFIB, candidates who applied for the Federal Fire Service recruitment can now check if they have been shortlisted by visiting the official CDCFIB career portal at https://cdcfib.career/. The next phase of the recruitment process will involve screening and psychometric evaluations, and candidates will be informed of further details such as the venues and dates for screening in due course.

This development comes after the CDCFIB resumed the recruitment process, with the next stage commencing on September 15, 2024. The Federal Fire Service has been actively recruiting to strengthen its workforce and improve its emergency response capabilities across the country.
