How to Prepare for the End of the World AKA BBN

About a week from today, Big Brother Naija will begin, and, as usual, we the watchers are met with pushback from the world changers and the politically affiliated who believe we should spend the hours we watch TV thinking about Nigeria. Well, they have one more week to do all of that, so they better chop up. Now, what do we need?

1. Refresh Your Memory: You may have to watch a few episodes of Love Island to remind yourself how cringe-worthy these shows can be. Trust me, you’ll need the refresher pack.
2. Subscription Check: Renew your GOtv or DStv subscription. If you intend to watch via Twitter, make sure to buy your monthly data plan.
3. Prepare for Stan Wars: As much as people claim to watch without a favorite, we all have that one contestant we love more than others, and that’s fine.
4. Keep It Light: Please keep your intellect in your pocket. It is a show for fun, not a contest to find the smartest person on the planet.
