TEEN ARTIST WITH AUTISM BREAKS WORLD RECORD WITH BIGGEST CANVAS PAINTING

Abuja was full of excitement on World Autism Awareness Day as 15-year-old Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke made history with his amazing painting. The young artist, who is autistic, broke the Guinness World Record for the largest painting on a canvas — and everyone is talking about it!

His painting, called “Impossible is a Myth,” covers a massive 12,303 square metres — that’s even bigger than a football field! It was unveiled at Eagle Square, Nigeria’s capital city, in front of a large crowd of fans, artists, and top government officials.

The Minister of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, praised Kanyeyachukwu for his talent and strength. She said he showed the world that creativity has no limits — no matter who you are.

The First Lady of Nigeria, Remi Tinubu, also sent in a message, asking Nigerians to support people with autism and help build a country where everyone can do great things.

Even though autism can make things like talking and socialising a bit harder, Kanyeyachukwu has shown that having a different way of thinking can also be a huge gift.

His story is a beautiful reminder that being different is not a weakness — it’s a strength. And sometimes, it’s the very thing that makes you shine the brightest.
