A Personal Opinion On Tyla’s Win

Tyla’s song Water won best performance and I-

We love Tyla here, I am a Stan of her work and truth or dare is such a vibe. 

But I-

Maybe it’s the newness of the artist that generally rubs us off the wrong way like um….she just started popping so how? 

Maybe it’s the category she was in that astounded people, Nigerians case in point. 

Maybe because Nigerians just feel robbed in total seeing as no Nigerian nominations received awards or maybe we just can’t fathom a 22-year-old babe winning an award for a song that was good. 

It could be a lot of things, to be honest. Am I happy for Tyla, of course. 

Does she deserve it?
