Former US President Donald Trump Shot But Escapes Assassination Attempt

President Bola Tinubu has dissolved the Governing Council of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, and removed its newly appointed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Bernard Odoh, and Registrar, Mrs. Rosemary Nwokike.
The decision was announced by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, after reports that UNIZIK’s council appointed an unqualified Vice-Chancellor without following proper procedures.
The council, led by Greg Mbadiwe, was accused of disregarding university laws, causing tensions between the Senate and the council. The Federal Government intervened to restore order and ensure compliance with due process.
