APC Candidate Lucky Aiyedatiwa Wins Ondo Governorship Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Ondo State governorship election. The election was held on Saturday.

Aiyedatiwa defeated his closest opponent, Mr. Agboola Ajayi of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), with a wide margin. He secured 366,781 votes, while Ajayi got 117,845 votes.

The APC also won in all 18 local government areas of the state, solidifying its victory.

Other parties, including the Labour Party (LP) and the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), scored 1,162 and 2,692 votes, respectively.

The results were officially announced by the collation officer, Prof. Olayemi Akinwunmi, at INEC’s State Headquarters in Akure.
