Nigerian Gospel Actor ‘Baba Gbenro’ has Passed Away

Nigerian gospel movie producer and actor, Moses Korede Are, popularly known as Baba Gbenro, has passed away. His death was announced on Thursday by fellow gospel actor and producer, Oluwaseun Adejumobi, through an Instagram post.

Adejumobi wrote, “Heaven’s Gain Again. A General Has Gone to Rest,” sharing the sad news with fans and colleagues.

Baba Gbenro was popularly known for his role in the movie Abattoir. He was the founder and International President of Calvary Movies Drama Ministry, based in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. He was also the Chief Executive Officer of Calvary Movies Television.

The news of his passing has left fans and members of the gospel movie industry in shock, with many expressing their condolences on social media.
