Portuguese legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, who is known for his record breaking achievements has been awarded the Platinum Quinas trophy on Monday night. This award, which is given by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), is the top honor in Portuguese football, celebrating Ronaldo’s remarkable career and his role as a global symbol of Portugal.
The Quinas de Ouro ceremony, which is held each year, recognizes the best in Portuguese football. This year’s event was attended by important guests, including Portugal’s Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, and FPF President, Fernando Gomes.
Reflecting on his long journey with Portugal’s national team, he said, “Thank you to the FPF for this award, marking a long journey filled with hard work,” Ronaldo shared on Tuesday, looking back on his impressive record of 216 appearances and 133 goals for Portugal.
