Governor Makinde Begins Upgrade of Ibadan Airport to International Standard

The executive governor of Oyo state, Governor Seyi Makinde has officially started the upgrade of the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport, Alakia, Ibadan.

The project aimed at transforming the airport into an international standard airport. The governor explained that once the upgrade is complete, the airport will connect Oyo State to the global market.

Governor Makinde said the upgraded airport would make it easier to do business in the state and attract investments, especially in sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, and technology. This will help position Ibadan as a major regional business hub.
