Cristiano Ronaldo Receives Special Award From UEFA

Portuguese international, Cristiano Ronaldo has been given a special award for being the all-time top scorer in the UEFA Champions League. He has scored 140 goals in 183 games, setting a record in the competition’s history.

Former Italy goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon, was also honored with the 2024 UEFA President’s Award.

Both received their awards during the UEFA Champions League draw ceremony, which took place on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. The awards were presented by UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin.
