Arsenal Sign Italian Defender Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna

Arsenal Football Club has announced the signing of Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna on a long-term contract.

The 22-year-old Italy international joins the Premier league club after an impressive season in Serie A, where he played a crucial role in helping Bologna secure Champions League qualification.

Arsenal confirmed the transfer on Monday through their social media platforms, warmly welcoming Calafiori with a “Benvenuto” – Italian for “Welcome.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also shared details of the deal, stating, “Official, confirmed. Riccardo Calafiori joins Arsenal from Bologna on a five-year deal.”
