In a thrilling Euro 2024 final held on Sunday in Berlin, Spain has emerged victorious, defeating England 2-1 to secure a record-breaking fourth European Championship title.
The match, played at the Olympiastadion, saw its first goal just minutes into the second half when Nico Williams, smartly finished in the bottom corner from a perfectly laid from 17-year-old Lamine Yamal.
England, found an equalizer midway through the second half, after Cole Palmer struck a brilliantly placed effort from outside the box, which restored England’s hopes.

This victory marks Spain’s fourth Euro title, adding to their previous triumphs in 1964, 2008, and 2012. For England, it was a case of heartbreak for the second consecutive European Championship, having been beaten by Italy on penalties at Euro 2020.
