Real Madrid Eliminates Bayern Munich To Advance to the Champions League Final.

All time champions league winners, Real Madrid has eliminated German club, Bayern Munich from the 2023/2024 UEFA champions league, following a dramatic showdown at the Santiago Bernaneu stadium.

The first leg of the semi final tie in Germany, ended in a 2-2 draw, and as a result, there was all to play for in the second leg of the fixture.
The match started with both sides attempting to draw first blood, but all their efforts seemed fruitless.
But in the 68th minute, Bayern Munich Alphonso Davies, with a solo effort, broke the Real Madrid’s defence and scored a fantastic goal to give the German side the lead in the fixture.
The match continued with Real Madrid mounting series of attacks on the Bayern Munich defence. And their efforts paid off, as they were able to draw level with two minutes of normal time to go after a beautiful goal from Joselu in the 88th minute.
Despite their equaliser, Real Madrid didn’t back down from their offenses, and in the dying minutes of the game, Joselu came clutch once more and scored the winner for Real Madrid.
With few seconds to go, Bayern Munich scored a second goal to draw level, but it was ruled out for offside. The match then ended 2:1 in favour of Real Madrid.

Real Madrid would then be facing another German club, Borrusia Dortmund in the final of the competition.
