Pelumi Nubi Makes History With 68 Days London To Lagos Drive

Pelumi Nubi has made history by driving from London to Lagos by road. She announced her intention to embark on the journey and officially commenced it on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

Travelling across 17 countries, she navigated through England, France, Spain, Morocco, and the vast West Sahara Desert solely by road.

Continuing her journey through Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, and Benin, she finally reached Lagos.

Throughout her trip, she encountered various experiences, both positive and negative, which she documented on social media.

Dealing with numerous immigration officers in Africa presented challenges, including being denied entry to Sierra Leone and experiencing a car accident in the Ivory Coast.

Despite facing setbacks and having to postpone her arrival twice, she persevered and successfully reached her destination at the University of Lagos on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
