RMD, Funke Akindele, Timini Others Win ‘Nollywood 100’ Award

Nollywood actors Richard Mofe-Damijo, Chidi Mokeme, and Funke Akindele were recently honored with the prestigious Legacy Award at ‘The Nollywood 100’ event. Organized by Ynaija, the ceremony took place on Thursday night and celebrated the achievements of 100 outstanding actors who have significantly contributed to the industry over the past year.

Ynaija, the organizing body, emphasized that the Legacy Award was bestowed upon individuals who have played a significant role in the growth of the Nollywood industry, recognizing both actors and those who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes.

Among the distinguished recipients of the award were Nse Ikpe-Etim, Daniel Effiong, Bimbo Ademoye, Timini Egbuson, and Ini Edo. The list of honorees also included other accomplished individuals such as Ruth Kadiri, Olarotimi Fakunle, Bolaji Ogunmola, Femi Adebayo, Eku Edewor, and Lateef Adedimeji, among several others.
