Their movies, “A Tribe Called Judah,” “Malaika,” and “Ada Omo Daddy,” are pure cinematic sensations, and Nigerians are loving every minute.
I love how these women truly went all out for their movies! The attention to detail in the storyline, cast, and production was exceptional. And the PR? It was massive—spanning across social media, mainstream media, and leveraging influencers.
They utilized every available resource and channel to market these movies. Little wonder these films are smashing records and claiming the top spots among the highest-grossing movies of 2023.
This is what we want to see: women dominating, breaking limits, raising the bar, and showing the next generation how it can be done. It’s a refreshing departure from the sexual objectification we’re used to.
