Odunayo Eweniyi is a dynamo in the Nigerian FinTech industry. As the Co-founder and Chief Operations Officer of PiggyVest and a driving force behind the Feminist Coalition, Eweniyi is not just breaking barriers; she’s shattering them.

In 2013, Odunayo Eweniyi graduated with a First Class in Computer Engineering from Covenant University. After finishing her degree, she took a bold step into FinTech. What came next? She teamed up with Somto Ifezue and Joshua Chibueze to launch Push CV. But that was just the beginning. In 2016, they went on to create PiggyVest, their standout achievement.

Eweniyi’s achievements go well beyond the business realm. In 2018, she clinched the Future Awards Africa Prize in Technology. She then graced Forbes Africa’s 30 Under 30 Technology list in 2019. She got a place in the Bloomberg 50 in 2020 and a spot on Time’s Next 100 list in 2021. The pinnacle of recognition came in March 2022 with the Forbes Woman Africa Technology and Innovation Award.

Beyond the boardroom, Eweniyi is also an activist. In 2020, when the End SARS protests echoed through Nigeria, she was more than a spectator. During the End SARS protests in 2020, she took a leading role in fundraising efforts, providing medical care and legal aid to victims of police brutality. In 2021, she joined forces with Eloho Oname to launch First Check, a beacon supporting women-led startups in Africa.
