The highly anticipated second season of “The Real Housewives of Lagos” is set to return on September 29, 2023 . Interestingly, it has the addition of two new cast members: fashion entrepreneur Tania Omotayo and former model and socialite Faith Morey.
The show’s first season which was a record-breaking success, emerged as the most-watched African title on Showmax Nigeria in 2022 . It also won the coveted best costume designer prize at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs)
“The Real Housewives of Lagos” offers viewers an intimate glimpse into the lives of some of Lagos’ most affluent and influential women, showcasing their extravagant lifestyles and the intricacies of their high-society circles. Season 2 pledges to provide an even deeper understanding of the housewives’ lives, as it sheds light on their ambitions and triumphs.
Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, enthusiastically expressed her excitement about the show’s return.

Faith Morey, Tania Omotayo, will be joining the OGs Chioma Ikokwu, Iyabo Ojo, Laura Ikeji-Kanu, Mariam Timmer and Toyin Lawani. Carolyna Hutchings is however notably missing in this season.
