What will happen when the internet is gone

Alright, folks, hold on to your hashtags, because we’re about to explore a world without social media. Can you imagine it? A world without Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok? It’s almost as hard to imagine as a world without avocado toast.

But let’s dive into this dystopian nightmare. What would happen if social media was destroyed? First of all, influencers everywhere would lose their minds. What would they do without a platform to post their perfectly curated photos and promote their latest “must-have” product?

Celebrities would have to find other ways to stay relevant, which might mean actually focusing on their craft instead of posting selfies every five minutes. And without social media, how would we even know what they had for breakfast?

But it’s not just influencers and celebrities who would be affected. Think about all the people who use social media to stay connected with friends and family. Without it, they’d have to resort to old-fashioned methods like phone calls, text messages, or even gasp meeting up in person.

News outlets would also have to adapt. Without social media to share their articles and breaking news stories, they’d have to rely on good old-fashioned newspapers and television broadcasts. Imagine that!

But there would be some positive effects too. For one, people might actually start living in the moment instead of constantly worrying about capturing the perfect Instagram shot. And without social media’s constant barrage of notifications, people might actually be able to focus on their work and personal lives.

Overall, a world without social media would certainly be different. But maybe it wouldn’t be so bad after all. Who knows, we might even rediscover the lost art of face-to-face communication. But let’s not get too ahead of ourselves, I still need to post this article on Twitter.
