The Phantom V fold 5G: Tecno launches first ever foldable phone

Coming on the back of a successful launch of their Spark and Camon series, Tecno recently launched it’s first ever foldable mobile phone, the astonishingly beautiful Phantom V fold 5G, and it was nothing short of mind blowing considering the calibre of top drawer personalities at the Library venued launch coupled with the aura of quality that comes with this particular phone.

Reviews all around have firmly opined that this phone is no just a value-oriented option to the Samsung Galaxy but also a better proportion of foldables that are quite different from the Galaxy. It’s beautiful, it’s cheaper, and the software experience is out of this world.

With a very sublime body, large battery that suits every possible work load you might want to burden the phone with, a camera system with a couple of 50MP units that allows you take a selfie while seeing your camera lenses and your image at the same time, and a battery perk that allows 45W fast charging, this mobile machine in form of a phone is the birth of a new innovation from tecno altogether.

At a glance, the phone body jumps at you as a very bold, well structured especially when unfolded. However, the body size is a 159.4×140.4×6.9mm when unfolded, and 159.4x72x14.2-14.5 mm when folded, 299g; Gorilla Glass Victus front, plastic back, aluminum frame; Schott UTG on the foldable display.

As for the price, we speculate that the phone should cost about a £700 or more depending on which gig you’re settling for. Prices could vary at other times though.
