Looking for a movie that tugs at your heartstrings and is based on a true story? Look no further than “Dark October.”

This film, executive produced by blogger and media entrepreneur Linda Ikeji, features talented actors such as Chuks Joseph, Munachi Okpara, Kem-Ajieh Ikechukwu, and Kelechukwu Oriaku. The plot centers around a true-life event, and it’s sure to pull on all of your emotions.

“Dark October” is based on a tragic true story that revolves around the Aluu 4 lynching. Four young men who were University of Port Harcourt students were falsely accused of armed robbery. They were then beaten to death and set on fire by a mob of Aluu community residents before they could be rescued.

The movie does a good job of depicting the events that led up to this tragic incident and serves as a warning against the dangers of jungle justice.

Despite some criticisms about Ikeji’s failure to meet with the slain boys’ family before releasing the film, “Dark October” still provides a portrayal of the actual events.

This movie is a must-watch for anyone who wants to learn more about this heartbreaking incident and wants to see justice served for the Aluu 4.
