President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the immediate release of 5 billion naira intervention fund requested by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC to equip and expand their facilities in their drive safeguard Nigerians.
This was made known to the public by Malam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity.
The President has approved NCDC’s request for an aircraft from the Presidential Air Fleet for emergencies.
Furthermore, the Federal Government also released the sum of 10 billion naira to the Lagos Government State to combat Covid-19 in Lagos.
