Manchester City Player Arrested in Madrid Over Alleged Phone Theft

Manchester City midfielder Matheus Nunes has reportedly been arrested in Madrid on suspicion of stealing a mobile phone.

The 26-year-old Portuguese footballer was allegedly detained early in the morning on September 8 at La Riviera, a popular nightclub in the city. According to reports from El Mundo, the incident happened at around 5:30 a.m. when Nunes was accused of taking a phone from a 58-year-old man. The man had tried to take a photo of Nunes in the restroom without his permission.

Nunes was taken to a local police station for questioning after the incident.
