Nottingham Forest Defeats Manchester United at Old Trafford, Inflicting a Second Consecutive Defeat for Ruben Amorim

Nottingham Forest has defeated Manchester United 3-2 at Old Trafford on Saturday. This is Forest’s first victory at United’s home ground since 1994.

The match began with an early goal from Forest’s Nikola Milenković. United’s Rasmus Højlund responded quickly, scoring the equaliser.

However, Forest regained the lead with goals from Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood. Bruno Fernandes managed to pull one back for United, but Forest held on to secure the win.

This victory moves Nottingham Forest up to fifth in the Premier League table, while Manchester United is struggling in 13th place.

United’s new manager, Ruben Amorim, had a decent start after replacing Erik ten Hag last month. He had guided the team to two wins and a draw in his first three games. However, after losing 2-0 to Arsenal earlier this week and now falling to Forest, United’s troubles seem to be growing.

“It’s a tough time, but we have to keep working,” Amorim said after the match.
