The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has closed several churches, hotels, bars, and other businesses for breaking environmental laws.
The affected areas include Mushin, Amuwo Odofin, and Okota Isolo. This action is part of LASEPA’s efforts to reduce noise pollution and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
According to a statement shared on LASEPA’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the establishments were given warnings before being shut down.
The agency explained that this operation shows its dedication to creating a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment for the people of Lagos.
