Daniel Dubois Knocks Out Anthony Joshua to Keep IBF Heavyweight Title

Daniel Dubois defeated Anthony Joshua with a knockout in the fifth round to retain his IBF heavyweight title. The fight took place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, September 21.

Dubois, who is 27 year-old, was in control from the beginning, landing powerful punches that Joshua couldn’t handle. He knocked Joshua down four times before delivering a final right-hand punch to the chin, ending the fight in the fifth round.

This defeat is a big setback for Joshua, who had hoped to fight the winner of the upcoming match between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury in December. Meanwhile, Dubois, who now has a record of 21 wins and 3 losses, will likely get a chance to face the winner of that fight.
