Victor Osimhen Set for Galatasaray Loan After Chelsea Deal Falls Through

Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen, is set to join Galatasaray on loan after Chelsea failed to secure his signing last week. Chelsea officials spent all of deadline day on Friday negotiating with Napoli, but the two clubs couldn’t agree on Osimhen’s wages.

Napoli’s manager, Antonio Conte, has decided not to play Osimhen after his move to Chelsea collapsed. Instead, Napoli has brought in Romelu Lukaku as his replacement for £30 million.

Now, Galatasaray has stepped in to sign Osimhen. The 25-year-old forward is expected to arrive in Istanbul this week to complete the loan deal. Galatasaray, who will face Tottenham in the Europa League group stage, see Osimhen as a key addition to their squad.
