Actress Annie Macaulay is moving forward with some exciting plans for her brand, even as she goes through a public separation from her husband, Nigerian music star 2Baba (Innocent Idibia).
During the Headies Awards held on April 28, 2025, Annie spoke in an interview with BBC Pidgin and shared that she’s working on launching her own television station, which will be called Annie Macaulay TV. It’s a big step for her as she builds her name in the media space.
When asked about how her kids are doing, Annie smiled and confidently said, “My children dey kampe, my family dey kampe.” She explained that her first daughter is currently studying abroad, and she warned, half-jokingly, “Don’t play with her o, don’t play with my kids — they are my backbone.”
Despite everything going on in her personal life, Annie made it clear that her focus is on her family and building something new and powerful for herself.
