FIFA President Gianni Infantino has announced that the 2026 FIFA World Cup final will have a special halftime show, similar to what is seen at the Super Bowl. This will be the first time a World Cup final includes such entertainment.
The final will take place in New York/New Jersey, and FIFA is partnering with Global Citizen to make the halftime show possible. Infantino shared this news on his personal Instagram.
In addition, FIFA plans to make the World Cup final and third-place match a big event in Times Square, New York. The tournament, set to be hosted across 16 cities in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, will bring exciting new experiences for football fans around the world.
